BarrierSabco is a frameless glass balustrade system that is simple to install, cost effective to purchase and capable of achieving BS EN 6180:2011 testing for multiple line loads upto 3.0kN on most glass thickness' on both base fix and side fix variants.
The system only requires 400mm fixing centres to achieve the 1.5kN rating therefore saving valuable time on site. 3.09kN rating requires 200mm centres and double the amount of clamps.
BarrierSabco allows easy alignment of the glass during installation upto +/-15mm either way. Once side clamps are then installed the glass is clamped in to position. Tightening is completed via Torx screws and can be done with a cordless drill - again speeding up the install time.
The system also has removable covers which allows for placement of the channel without risk to damaging finish as covers can be fitted at the end of the install.
We can supply this system in either a Base Mount or Side Mount and in 2 finishes - Natural Anodised or Stainless Steel effect Anodised. Both finishes are 20 microns thick - perfect for coastal or clean room applications.
